I bought this for my college bound daughter. She is already a very good writer, but this was recommended by the "Grammar Girl" and I'm glad I bought it. It takes you through the essay writing process from beginning to end, with lots of great advice and plenty of sample essays. It's easy to use and you are able to skip to the sections of the book that apply to you or your student. I highly recommend it. I like the book, the website and I follow his FB feed which offers daily advice on all things surrounding the essay and some that even go a bit out of that scope.
